You will also find this in the Adoption Tag for this blog, but I'm repeating here, so that searches will find it under correct categories.
Digital Scrapbooking Online Stores don't have a lot of items specifically for adoption. Let me know if you do find any others, also. I've taken a look around some of the bigger stores this weekend, then did a general websearch. Although I am aware of many country-specific kits which would be helpful if adopting from foreign nations, I was seeking specific adoption themes. My search was simple - I simply used the term "Adopt" in the store search field.
If you are a paper-based scrapper, don't be put off by the fact that these are digital scrapbooking finds. The jpegs and pngs in these kits can be simply printed out onto transparencies or paper, to create your paper embellishments also.
Don't forget those adoption themed kits found at Scrap and Tell.com, available for many foreign countries. I'm showing you one of the Russian ones this time.
At Scrap Girls, there is a beautiful mini collection
(available in separates also) by Sarah Batdorf called Heart in Hand. This features some lovely wordart including phrases such as "Our Chosen Child" and "Our Long Awaited Adoption" and some tags celebrating adoption day.
Kay Eflin has a Chinese kit created for a chinese adoption, which includes a quote helpful in adoption layouts. It's available from Kathryn Balint Digital Scrapbooking, and also at Escape and Scrap
Christina Blomberg created an Adopted Daughter Kit for
sale at Digitals, even though she was unsuccessful in finding a daughter. It has a slight Asian theme, and ribbons with phrases such as "Chosen - Not Born".
At Digital Scrapbook Place, you will find two word art matches for adoption, including Tina Chamber's Adoption wordart itself.
At Oscraps there are four different adoption themed kits - some Adoption Poetry,
Adoption Wordart Poetry (shown here), and two themed Lifebook Adoption kits - one called Roots, the other Wings by Ronee Parsons.
Digiscrapping Moms has a whole section promising adoption stuff - it's empty currently.
Scrapbooks Gone Digital has some red or blue wordart on the subject.
And thus far - that's what I can find. Of course, dependent on the age of the adopted child, any baby or children's digital kit can be used as a firm base to form an adoption lifebook / scrapbook upon. Simply add the relevant page themes, and word art as you go.

I probably need to buy this one, solely because Digital Artist Magazine is profiling the artist behind Sausan Designs. I was first a fan of this woman when I discovered her work at Plain Digital Wrapper (closed up in December 2006). When she moved over to Maya's Scrapbook Graphics, Sylvie's Altered Arts designs became even more prolific, and I must own all her paper packs, and most of her realistic flower and leave packs.
Yes, must go and buy that magazine once I'm back into some kind of budget.
